We also maintain membership in the top professional organizations for all the industries we serve. We have an immediate opening for a Route Driver that will be based out of our Lancaster, OH branch. JOB FUNCTION:1. This position is responsible for operating a company truck and driving to various locations to deliver and/or pick up portable restrooms, hand sinks, showers or holding tanks. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Conduct daily pre-shift & post-shift inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediately. Also report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager. 2. Operate truck or truck and trailer to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to deliver or pick-up portable restroom units, hand sinks, showers, or holding tanks. Updates work orders with relevant delivery or pick-up detail. 3. Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatch to receive additional instructions, changes to work locations, etc. 4. Following the Company’s safety guidelines, properly secures equipment to appropriate vehicle/equipment. Assist yard personnel when necessary to load and unload portable restrooms, hand sinks, showers, and holding tanks. 5. Ensure that units are stocked with paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, etc. prior to leaving the yard. Works with shop employees to stock units if anything is missing. 6. Follow all established policies and safety rules and regulations. 7. Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations. 8. Special /other projects as assigned by management.
