Details: As the Operations Manager in our Animal Milk plant, you will provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to exempt and non-exempt employees in the areas of production, sanitation, quality, safety, and warehousing. You will work closely with all members of our management staff and corporate resources to ensure that the highest quality of finished product is produced within the scheduled timelines in a safe and efficient manner. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Bachelor degree, preferably in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.5+ years in increasingly responsible positions in the food industry, with progressive leadership responsibilities. Must have strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills. Ability to communicate with a variety of people and negotiate priorities. Demonstrated written communication skills. Capacity for consistently meeting deadlines. Ability to manage multiple projects. Solid organization, detail orientation and excellent follow-through skills.Required Competencies & Other Skills: Familiar with Continuous improvement initiatives, with shop floor automation systems, automated packaging systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), understanding with processes associated to dry milk powders is a plus.
