EHS Manager

Details: ?Ensure OSHA, DEP, EPA compliance as applicable.? At least 50% of time is spent on the shop floor and around the plant sites? Provide opinions in legal compliance areas.? Maintain knowledge in these areas.? Conduct and provide Employee  related training? Manage administrative functions, files, folders as they relate to the position.systems.? Investigate all workplace accidents to determine root cause and to assist in identifying and  .implementing corrective actions? Actively participate on the Plant EHS committee and  in their activities including   self-audits ,awareness and  recognition programs.? Full responsibility for the MSDS Program? Conduct site audit of  training programs? Conduct Job Safety analysis for all new equipment and process changes? Prepare, maintain and update environmental &  safety policies and procedures manuals? Successful interaction with customers during audits? Maintain/support ISO 9000 program as it relates to position? Ensure all training is documented effectively into training data base? Experience in identifying and abating critical risks such as  machine guarding, electrical safety, LO/TO program?  Point person relative to all Federal and State site inspections.?Primary contact with W. Comp. Carrier  Safety & Environmental inspectors/engineers.?  Responsible for the following key compliance areas: OSHA Regulations, SWPPP, SPCC,RCRA
